A Top Congresswoman Just Revealed Why Pence Is Putting Up With Trump’s Lunacy

The spectacular failure of TrumpCare, the embarrassing speech to the Boy Scouts, the Scaramucci interview with the New Yorker, and the resignation of White House Chief of staff Reince Preibus are just the salacious headlines of what has easily been the worst week of Donald Trump’s presidency.  It was so bad, the vultures have started to circle, sensing the end may be near.

Trump loyalists are beginning to wobble this weekend.  But the real story is how his critics have begun sharpening their knives.  What began months ago as hyperbole and hope that Trump’s term could be shortened have now become expectations that this President won’t survive reelection.

Chief among his critics has been Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who is beginning to speak about the president’s removal from office with an air of inevitability.  She took to Twitter this morning and essentially told America to get used to hearing the phrase “President Mike Pence.”

IMPEACH DONALD TRUMP!

Since the moment candidate Donald Trump tapped Pence to be his running mate, many commented on the odd-couple quality of the Republican ticket.  They just didn’t fit.  Where Trump is brash and boastful, Pence is humble and reserved.  Where Trump is secular and colloquial, Pence is pious and formal.

This mismatched couple nearly imploded on the eve of the election when the infamous Access Hollywood “grab’em by the pu**y” recordings leaked.  Pence reportedly considered withdrawing from the ticket but stuck it out.

Clearly, he felt the Vice Presidency was a worthy office, even under a controversial President like Donald Trump, and that it would ultimately lead to a shot at the presidency itself.  Now it appears his loyalty may be repaid sooner than even he ever expected.
