What I Think

Donald Trump Essentially Blames the Girl Killed in Charlottesville for Her Own Death [Tweets]

A lot of Americans including politicians met the REAL president this weekend.  Trump’s failure to single out the white supremacist who killed one woman and injured over a dozen others proved where Trump’s interests lie.  White nationalists and Vladimir Putin own Trump.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe held a brief press conference to confirm that a woman had died during the car crash purposely committed by a white supremacist.

How does Trump respond?

He tweeted:

“Deepest condolences to the families & fellow officers of the VA State Police who died today. You’re all among the best this nation produces.”

“Condolences to the family of the young woman killed today, and best regards to all of those injured, in Charlottesville, Virginia. So sad!”

If a person were to read between the lines, he or she would see that Trump is blaming the girl for her death.  He never called out the person responsible or blamed white nationalists.  He simply said that it was “sad” what happened.

His remark is basically saying, “oh well, you got what you deserved for opposing Nazis.”  Trump calculated exactly what to say to appear innocent, yet blow a dog whistle for his avid followers.

What is your reaction?
