The Anne Frank Center Just Called Trump An ‘Accomplice To Domestic Terrorism’
Donald Trump branded himself early on as the candidate who wasn’t going to bow to political correctness. But he still raised eyebrows when he elevated the controversial Stephen Bannon to his inner circle of close advisors – first as the head of his campaign for the general election, then as White House Chief Strategist before taking office.
For one thing, Bannon was a political novice, with no campaign or staffing experience. For another, he harbored dangerous white nationalist views and enabled and promoted rampant anti-semitism while Editor in Chief of Breitbart News.
Later, Trump added more aides to his staff with dubious links to the alt-right, including Stephen Miller and Sebastian Gorka, to name only two.
Many were shocked by the number of officials surrounding Trump that were suspiciously tolerant of far right ideologies, and maintained ties to dangerous groups.
But not the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect in New York City. The civil rights group has been a diligent watch dog since Donald Trump became a serious candidate. Every time someone in the President’s administration does or says anything racially intolerant, including the President himself, they’ve spoken out quickly and harshly.
After the President’s shameful prevaricating on white supremacy this weekend following the hate and violence on display in Charlottesville Saturday, activists at the Anne Frank Center couldn’t stay silent. They took to twitter early this morning and demanded that Trump’s favorite social media platform take action.
Dear @Twitter corporate: He is an accomplice to domestic terrorism. If you can’t end @POTUS account, at least end @realDonaldTrump account.

It’s unlikely Twitter would ever kicked the First Tweeter off its service, but one can’t help but wonder what it would take for that to happen. People get kicked off of social media sites all the time for crossing ethical lines much more trivial.
If aiding and abetting domestic terrorism doesn’t get him booted, what will?
Add your name to millions demanding that Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH DONALD TRUMP!
