What I Think

Trump Just Brought Us Closer To War With North Korea With His Morning Tweets

Early Friday morning, the President of the United States decided once again to publicly taunt and threaten the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea from his Twitter account, bypassing all diplomatic channels in favor of nonchalantly provoking a pariah regime with nuclear weapons from the comfort of his New Jersey golf club.

To hammer home the absurdity of international conflict in the world of social media and Trump’s astonishing disregard for anything that bears a cursory resemblance to nuance or subtlety, he followed it up with a retweet of some warplanes from the military’s Pacific Command.

Every day this week, the world has awoken to see the President of the United States idly antagonizing a nuclear-armed regime, seemingly uncaring or simply oblivious to the potential consequences of his actions.

It’s clear he’s more concerned with appearing “tough” and keeping up the pathetic facade of hypermasculinity that he tries so very hard to impose, not realizing that the more he struggles the weaker he looks.

We can only hope that cooler heads in the administration can keep this big talking draft-dodger from putting the lives of thousands of innocents where his mouth is.

Add your name to millions demanding that Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH DONALD TRUMP!
